this was more than we hoped for or expected. It hurts , and seeing the  team's  real flaws is distrubing. But , most here wanted a  youth movement. You got one, now  time to practice some patience. A tree does not grow over night.

There's no future to speak of. One good young player so far-Sanchez. Most of the other kids will be busts, and the Yankees do not have carte blanche to use PEDs like the Red Sox and the Cubs do. MLB is determined to keep the Yankees out of contention. Pair all of that with a feckless manager and owners who only care about money and you have a franchise that is doomed to mediocrity.

Except for Sanchez and perhaps Judge we really have not seen any of the elite talent. Those guys are a year to three away. By then the salary mess should be cleared out, the manager returned to the broadcast booth and the Yankees bnack in the postseason.

I certainly did not and you know what? I think that the H Brothers, Cashman and Joe didn´t expect to be in the position The Yanks stand today although they kept repeating the same BS: we are playing for Post Season. They did not believe what they were repeating that is why they traded Chapman and Miller. I bet they regret getting rid of Miller.

The reason that Joe overused Betances is because he doesn´t trust his pen, so Cashman needs to get busy as soon as the season is over because we need starters and a good pen that includes a set up for Betances if this Team is to get back to the World Series.

Most of them will be busts. One of them will work out, maybe. There is next to no pitchers-it's all on Sheffield, and he'll probably fail. Girardi isn't going anywhere, and the Yankees will never win again.

Joe, this guy is a complete and total downer.  Also unrealistic.  "Never win again"?  I feel like we've been playing with the house money lately, anyway.  Maybe that late surge was just an illusion, or maybe an indicator of better things to come.  Time will tell, but moves will need to be made.  nc
