Chapman: "The only thing I have expressed is that I would like a six-year contract. I know that doesn't mean that I will get it, but that's what I would like to sign. There are rumors out there that I requested $100 million and that's not true at all. I believe he who deserves something, does not need to demand it."   GTFOOH

4/80 is stretching it IMO. Anything beyond that is silly.

Once his arm goes south, and it will at some point, he's not going to find success without a 100mph fastball. I'd rather them use that money on a couple of upgrade arms for the pen, if they have to improve from the FA market. Probably will be a lot cheaper, as well.

He did get through that one inning in game 7 with nothing but breaking balls. I was impressed because I didn't think he could. He will have to do that more often. Mix it up.

He can do that, when the threat of 100mph still exists. Once that threat is gone, he'll be Joba'd IMO.

The Yankees should offer Chapman 5/87.5. I think that's fair.

are you guys hereing Cashmans comments, we are not getting a free agen starting pitcher, we arent trading for a starting pitcher, and we will try to get Chapman but he might be to pricey, I know we are rebuilding I get it but this is beyond rediculous.

What FA pitcher? What trade target and what are you willing to give up?
