Yankees officially sign the league leader in home runs for the National League Chris Carter to a 1 year 3.5 million dollar deal. Thoughts on this mega signing?

Already discussed in another thread ... don't really think this is a big deal ... hope he does enough to warrant taking up a roster spot ... that's the issue with homerun hitters ... you never know if they are going to be worth their spot on the roster.

I mentioned this in another thread but it's amazing that how 3.5M/Year is considered a "cheap/reasonable" deal these days!  I'd take that deal and fully retire after a year!

I'd take 1 mil and keep working.
