I was so damn bored last night that I actually watched the Mets game. (SWB was getting drubbed)

seriously man, we've had about 25 off days already!  and we get another on Monday!  so do we play 140 consecutive days at some point?

Dude the schedule has been grueling. Especially for the damn fans!

Headley might get another day off tonight. I think Joe wants him to get a pedicure- whatever it takes to keep him fresh.

Gotta get Kozma into the lineup too. The guy makes Jeter look like Refsnyder with the glove. If you could get a gold glove for playing 14 games a year Kozma wouldn't win one, but Joe would advocate it anyways because he loves the guy!

I do like Girardi but sometimes he does things that make me want to break things.

different parts of the tri-state area ..have their favorite fan bases ...i think NY has always been a traditional National league city ...given history with Dodgers & Giants ...they had the " blue collar" fans...the Yanks had the " upper class " fan base ..that was the perception.

I hear this all the time from mets fans that NY Is an NL Town, the schmoozer on WFAN always says it. I dont buy that NY was ever an NL town in most of the 20th  century maybe before Babe Ruth. Think of This once Babe Ruth became a Yankee and the Yankees became a dynasty for the better part of the 20th century about 100 years and the hottest team in the world The Dodgers and Giants couldnt seem to beat the Yankees in the fall classic we dominated them, when they finally did win the fall classic it was a rare thing. Since Babe Ruth Became a Yankee not only has NY been an AL town but a Yankee Town/City/World!!!!!!!!!!

Francessa is a know nothing hack. Whatever he says you can pretty much bet on the opposite. Complete clown.

The NY Yankees are the greatest franchise in professional sports. The best on the planet. The numbers don't lie- look at team value.

That worthless lump of undigested beef and diet coke can spew whatever verbal diahrrea that it wants but that doesn't make the useless drivel that he spews true. The guy is completely clueless.

i tuned into WFAN/Francesa after avoiding it for many months.  A Mets fan calling in saying Mets are superior to the Yankees in every way, especially the bullpen.  That's when Francesa got into his grill....You're going to compare Chapman & Betances to Familia & Reed?  Are you out of your mind??? Additionally, Warren has been great. Mets defense is atrocious and Yankees has been playing with good defense.

My feeling is ...with less expectations and less pressure as Yankees retool, they have been playing with more abandonment.  Mets with their stellar pitcher rotation have more expectations in delivering the goods. As a result Yankees are playing better than expected and the Mets are playing below expectations.

Always proud to be a Yankee fan.
