Please stop using "Pavano" casually in statements. Gray isn't and wouldn't be a loser of that epic propotions. You have to give to get something. This may be the thing.

I'd be ok with trading Frazier for Gray, the question is what the "and" is.

Frasier is not going any where, so I wouldn't worry about it. It's always the job of any GM to always inquire about the other team's top prospects when negotiating. I truly believe both Frazier, Gleyber, and Shefield are the only untouchable prospects.

I would be Very angry If Frazier gets Traded He Is made for the Pinstripes, If there are three players I would deem off limits they would be, Clint Frazier, Chance Adams, and Glyber Torrez.

I wouldn't be happy if Frazier was in a package for Gray. He should be the future LFer on this team. Stupid if he is in it. I wouldn't do it straight up. Sign somebody in the off season if after giving Adams or Smith a chance and they don't impress..

I agree, Gray is a good pitcher but he has an injury history. Currently there's no position for Mateo unless the Yankees plan on trading Castro. If the Yanks plan on keeping Castro then I wouldn't mind if Mateo is part of a trade for Gray. The Yanks trading for Gerrit Cole would be my first choice though. That said, I think the Yanks first option should be giving Adams and Smith a chance.

I think Mateo has a spot. He can be a better super utility player IMO then Wade. His speed could be a huge weapon. When the time comes he can plug one of the spots either in CF or 2nd.
How about this being optimistic C- Sanchez 1B-Bird 2nd-Torres SS-Didi 3rd-Castro or hopefully Andujar LF- Frazier CF- Fowler RF- Judge 4th OF -Hicks Super utility- Mateo If they get rid of Headley, Gardner and DFA Ellsbury it could happen next year. Then go big in 2019 for those positions that show a need to be upgraded. That should be the plan.

Frazier won't be going anywhere. Cashman has said that they do not want to move any of their high level prospects that are close to contributing and getting is younger. This is one case where I believe him.
