Hey Max, do you remember those air raid drills in elementary school ? I remember them making us hudle under our desks or in the hallway That along with the fire drills.

Yep, I remember them.

Like one of my classmates said to our teacher. "Why are we having air raid drills they won't help if there was a Nuke attack." All those drills did was scare little children.

President Clinton tried to do the right thing, it's not his fault that NK cheated. Trying to find a peaceful resolution is always a good idea instead of war. NK didn't have nukes back then as far as we know, but they did and still do have the world's largest artillery. The latter comes into play because Seoul is only 35 miles away from the DMZ. That in my opinion is what stopped US Presidents from attacking NK. It's estimated that NK could hit Seoul with half a million artillery shells in less than an hour.

Anderson Cooper had 3 Generals on last night talking about an attack on South Korea from the North. They were saying it would take minutes to hit Seoul. The North have missle launchers embedded in the mountains nearby. They were talking about how we would attack them by air.

That's part of the reason why I think we both agreed that if a military option was easy it would have been used by past POTUS long ago. NW made a good point about who knew that Kim Jong would be crazier than his dad.

I think at this stage of the game we have two leaders that think they are above anyone else in the world, all we can hope is that they both come to their senses and either or both decide to blink... The little fat kid who thinks he's another Hitler like has the most to lose, it would be like committing suicide, this is a war he can't win, but I'm not sure there is a winner in this game... NK, SK, Quam, Japan, and in some cases China have the most to lose.. Right now I don't think they can hit our soil, it's just another dream the fat kid is having...

Didn't he go to college in the US? You would think he would be more rationale. I heard he has older brothers but he was chosen because he was in line with his fathers thinking.

It was a lucky guess because I remembered hearing something like that on the news. Up until then I thought he went to school in N. Korea.

He did go to school in Switzerland but not college. Reported a a boarding school. Kept his idenity secret. Classmates thought he was dangerous.

Kim Jong Un’s former classmates say he really is ‘dangerous, unpredictable, prone to violence’
