As Trump signs his veto with attorney general Barr at his side making comments about his greatness,  can we expect impartiality when Mueller  completes his report?

It seems Barr is doing all he can to ingratiate himself toward Trump's presence. It's rather sad to see a once respected man grovel.

Barr is the guy who helped give a pass to the Iran/Contra conspirators following the breaking of that scandal during the '80's.

It's kind of sad for a president who requires constant praise/ adulation inorder to sense much needed admiration. Talk about narcissism....Sealed Time wasted as the public don't need to see it on displayed...just having mirrors at hand will suffice.

Kind of embarrassing to surround himself with yes men to cover his insecurities

No LL it's Trumps fault. Get with the program.

I won't say it's his fault, because it's the fault of the nutjob in New Zealand, but Trump's words don't help. Especially how he hinted towards violence the day before. Words matter.

Max I heard him denounce it. He just said he didn't think it was on the rise.

“My warmest sympathy and best wishes goes out to the people of New Zealand after the horrible massacre in the Mosques. 49 innocent people have so senselessly died, with so many more seriously injured,” he wrote. “The U.S. stands by New Zealand for anything we can do. God bless all!”

The president later Friday said that he doesn't believe that white nationalism is a rising threat around the world.

"I think it's a small group of people that have very, very serious problems, I guess," Trump told reporters during a veto ceremony in the Oval Office.

"It's certainly a terrible thing," he said.

 What's wrong with that?

You don't see him saying that "it's not on the rise" as him downplaying white supremacy? Especially that Law Enforcement's data doesn't support his claim.  What about his comments that hinted violence?

As far as on the rise , all hate crimes all are on the rise. In Nigeria Muslim militants killed 120 Christians in a 3 week period and nobody reports it. Why? It happens so much we have become immune to it.

That was terrible in New Zealand. This guy was not the norm. Read he went to Paris and a lot of his hatred started from the terrorist acts committed there. Unfortunately this is the world we live in. A lot of people from all sides are responsible for the division in our country . Trump should do a better job of changing that but Pelosi and Schumer wouldn't want any part of it. It's all about being in power.

Trump doesn’t think white nationalism is a threat — but data says otherwise

Nearly 50 people were allegedly killed by a man in New Zealand who was inspired by white nationalist ideas. The US is no better off.

Trump Has Touted Debunked Story About U.S. General Killing 49 Muslims To End Terrorism

Bullets were “dipped in pig’s blood,” he claimed, one of his many past comments under new scrutiny following the New Zealand attack.
