The kid ain't right.
He's missing good pitches, or, at least, pitches he used to feast upon.  He's also hitting flyouts to right-center where he was dunking those into the bleachers in the first half.
That shoulder wrap speaks volumes.  Something's wrong.  He's not the same hitter we saw in the first half and I suspect that shoulder wrap means injury.
They need to get him right.
&*$Q* home run derby.
- My apologies if this has already been discussed.  I didn't see any previous threads-

I guess the homerun derby messes some hitters, while it fixes others...take a look at Giancarlo Stanton's number of HR's since the derby and see how that exhibition actually fixed his HR swing.

I could be wrong but I remember a game not too long after the AS break where Judge made a diving catch in RF, after that catch he got up and sort of moved his left shoulder like maybe he hurt it on the catch, I'm wondering if there wasn't more to that then he/they are willing to say ?? I'll keep saying, you don't wrap a shoulder in ice after every game if there isn't something wrong with it ??

You're right.  I forgot about that.  If he separated that shoulder, that's trouble.  Hurts like a b%^ch.

Well if he's playing hurt, he should be put on the DL in order to heal the shoulder. The more he plays hurt, the worse that shoulder will get, to the point that it could endanger the rest of his career!

Agreed.  I had a 3rd degree AC separation in 2003.  It was miserable.  It took nearly a near for me to be able to sleep on my left side.  It affected my swing and ruined my golf game too.  Only recently have I been able to get any power behind my driver without shanking the ball.

This type of injury, if that's what it is, needs time to heal.  It's not something to play through.

Why wouldn't they sit him for a couple of days to allow it to heal?

I can only think of one reason, and that's that Judge hasn't admitted to being injured...but I think his problem has gone way beyond just a mechanical or mental issue.

He. Is either hurt or he is Shelly Duncan part 2.  Too good for Triple A,  but not good enough for the majors.

If. His shoulder is hurt,  this. Could be another shoulder situation like  Bird or Posada.
Both  missed a whole season .
