He's so worried about player's feelings.

Can't demote Chapman! We'll hurt his feelings!

Can't use an effective pitcher! We'll hurt Betances' feelings!

A good manager (like Casey Stengel) puts their players in the best possible situation. That's why he had a platoon with certain players.

Can't wait for Girardi Face tonight.

Imagine how much better the Yanks would be with a regular manager. Or a computer.

Read the article.

The minute Betances was trying to nibble off Castillo with three straight breaking pitches, and nearly tying the game, Girardi should have had Green up and ready to go. The second he walked a .159 hitter to put Machado as the winning run, he should have been GONE.

Girardi on Betances: "Dellin's been throwing the ball great, he just hung a breaking ball."

Fire Girardi. He was not "throwing the ball great." He nearly hung a breaking ball to Castillo and blew it there.

Girardi has all the reaction time of a deer in headlights.

Uh huh. Green can get 1 out.

This could cost the Yanks the playoffs, since they just put the Orioles back in the race.

Yankees in the wildcard have always stunk, and this year will be no different. Unless they win the east, I couldn't care less about the playoffs, since I look at wildcard champions as nothing more than asterisks next to their WS trophy (see Marlins twices). Either you earn your title, or pretend to be a champion, when the rest of the world knows you just fluked your way to a title.
