And remember, Sanchez missed a month at the beginning of this season. I have faith that Sanchez will improve his defense behind the dish due to his work ethic.  There is no question,  sky the limit for both Judge and Sanchez. They will continue to get better with time and experience!!!

Sanchez will win far more games at the plate than he will lose behind the plate even if he doesn't improve. That being said, I think his defense will improve moving forward with Pena and Girardi working with him.

Now, let's get Birdman back on track
I want to see Sanchez, Bird, Judge
Can you image how great it would be to see 100-125 homeruns  a year from these 3?
And 300-330 RBIs combined yearly?
Modern day Murderers row. Woo Hoo!

I have no faith in Sánchez improving.  He has not just been bad but historically bad.  He may last another 2 or 3 seasons behind the plate, but it'll basically be because the Yankees have nobody banging on the door to catch.  He'll be a first baseman before he's 30, which isn't horrible because Bird isn't the answer.
