I just can't understand why Girardi has Judge batting second ?? He's made for the #6 hole, until he cuts down on his K's..

look at Judges on base percentage and that will tell you why he's hitting 2nd

YO, aren't you a baseball player....and you don't know the answer to that\?

His .OBP is .411.

In addition the #6 hole means nothing AFTER the first inning.  If you look at the lineup and if Chase Headley leads off an inning, Judge bats 6th in the sequence.

Lineups are NOT linear. They are CIRCULAR.  Meaning that an inning doesn't start off with Brett Gardner at #1 and ends with Todd Frazier at #7 and then starts back up with Brett Garder at #1. If that was the case, THEN you have a logical argument to have Judge bat 6th. But since lineups are CIRCULAR....it doesn't matter, because anybody can leadoff an inning, bat 2nd, or even cleanup.

Who was that Yankees first baseman from early 2000s that Bird reminds me of...always injured. I forgot his name. Good hitter, but always injured.
