I see Judge is getting a day off, the way Castro has been hitting I think he needs a day off as well... I'd rather see Judge in the lineup than Castro right now, at least Judge gets on base with his walks, Castro seems to be swinging at anything and everything...

I'm with you on that all the way. Castro looks like everytime he swings, he wqnts to hit a 6 run HR.

If Torres is the real deal, you plug him at second base and see what you can get for Castro. Sterlin is having a solid season and has a cheap contract. His style as free swinging hitter doesn't fit with this team long term..

That's insane...Torres is pretty much a free swinger himself, with ZERO experience in the bigs...he will need at least 2 more years to develop in the minors. Meanwhile, Castro is a proven big leaguer who can hit .280-.290, good glove, with extra base hit power. Why exactly would the Yankees want to downgrade their current situation (since Castro is only 27 himself), which would only make the team take more years to develop into world championship caliber?

Torres could be the future second baseman when Castro's contract is up in 2 years.

I'm hoping this is Garcia's final start in pinstripes. Can't wait to put Monty in the rotation and leave him there for good.
