Be careful what you wish for, because you just might just get it , and when you do, you find out it was not something you  wanted after all.
I expect with the new manager, the same complainers will find something to dislike.

Lulu,

The people who hate Girardi are those who were annoyed by his "by-the-binder" aspect of his managing.

LOL...do you know what's funny about that?

All indications are pointing to a analytics-minded person to manage the Yankees. If that's the case you can probably replace the binder with an iPad.

I just want to make It clear I am not a Girardi hater, I liked him I just thought 10 years was enough time to win more then 1 Championship and It was time to move on.

You don't have to "hate" someone to think he or she ain't the perfect person for the job. There is always a fit between a person, the position and the circumstances. Giardi had a great run in New York...and is young enough that a second act could occur in the future. The relationship between Girardi and the younger players on the team seems to be the focus today, but the whole story might not come out for years. There might be more to it...and it might not be all on Girardi.

Many years ago a guy from Harvard observed that novelty often improved worker productivity. Sometimes it is just time for a change. You don't need hate to be part of it.

Let me also point out that If your all right and we will be good for many years to come because of the Young Kids then may be It doesnt matter who Is Manager, The Manager just has to be competent enough to put out a good lineup and have good ingame dicisions If we really have a good young promising team for years then It wont matter really If we replace Girardi will it?

Real!y?If I  am right, there were several occasions when you  posted negative things about him.
10 years? Why? Because he did not win multiple championships?
What is wrong with that theory? First, a manager is only as good as the players he is given.
Second, with the multiple levels of the  post season, it is very hard to return year after year.
That means MLB has set in motion  the unlikelihood of a team dominating anymore.
That is not on the manager or the players. It is on MLB.

Then why did you write a thread saying that Girardi had to go.

Mo, I remember that and he says he is not a Girardi hater.
Next I expect Ray and Johan to deny they dislike  Joe.

I never said anything negative about him just that It was time to move on. Let me play devils advocate here After the 2015 season and we barely made the playoffs as a Wild card and lost to Houston In the WC did you think Girardi should have been fired?  or how about after the 2014 season and we missed the playoffs Did you want him fired then? I can keep going? I like Girardi I liked him as a Yankee Player and I liked him as a Yankees Manager, very classy guy. But It was time to move on. I find It Ironic that the media and WFAN Personalities who all seem to hate The Yankees they all hate the Girardi Fireing That alone makes me love the Fireing! The Baseball and sports media are all a bunch of Idiots dont know what they are talking about.
