Maybe it is time for the electronic strike zone.

it was time 20 yrs. ago.. so many critical games have swung wrong way

I'll never forget the 1985 World Series game 6...the 9th inning...the blown call at first base cost the Cardinals the World Series that year.

I still remember Cardnials pitcher, Joaquin Andujar was so angry in game 7 over the umpires blown call from game 6, that he wanted to physically kill the umpires that night.

It was the most shameful moment I remember ever having seen in World Series history.

Sadly it's true, Yankees easily win game 7 if the game was called fairly.  The Yankees batters were showing patience and McCullers would of walked a bunch of batters if the game was called the right way.  The wrong team is in the WS, and it would be a shame if an undeserving team won it.  So go Dodgers tonight, don't let those racist fakers win!

Yanks have losing Road record of 40-41. Dodgers edge Yanks almost across board.

Until they met Kick Asstros, Dodgers went 7-1 in Post-Season,

Yanks behind 0-2, twice. Scored 3 Runs in 4 Road games in ALCS. That is terrible. As fans we need to be honest.

in a Game 7. ZERO RUNS.

will they improve? i hope so. and expect so.

are they better than the Dodgers are presently? No. Not close/

Not close?  Now that is a joke. Yankees would not have lost a game 7 at home against the Astros.

Did you not watch the game?  The umpire literally was calling pitches that was inside the Yankees batters box a strike.  The Yankees were robbed of a WS visit.

What I noticed with the umpiring in the playoffs, very inconsistent would be the best name for it.. Even in game seven last night the strike zone changes so many times, several calls were bad, how bad, well I guess it depends on what team you were for, as I was pulling for the Astros (AL Team) I thought they have some very close calls that went againt them and close calls that really hurt them in certain situations, again if depends on which team you're a fan of.. But there needs to be more consistency in the umpiring in big games like these playoff games, it has to get better... Too much hangs in the calls on balls and strikes..

One thing I've always said, I would prefer a little bigger strike zone than a real tight one, I've always said a hitter has two or three chances to hit the ball, but if a pitcher has to put a pitch in a small strike zone they even have more.. It would sure make for better games, it would take a lot of pressure off of the BP's.. It would make smaller pitch counts and shorter games... But again, umps have to be consistent... Just my two cents..

Exaggerate much?  We are talking about a handful of games.  In my eyes The Astros, Cleveland, Yankees, Nations, or Dodgers winning was all a reasonable possibility.  Anyone esle would have been an upset.  If it were played over there would be a different result like a die roll
