I know, it's water under the bridge...but the bottom line is, the Yankees didn't blow any of their home games to the Astros the way the Dodgers just did, which means the Yankees were a stronger team (at least at home) than the Dodgers are. Remember just how close the Yankees came to winning it all this year, if the Dodgers go on to lose the World Series.

it was a tale of 2 different offenses in the ALCS... the team in Houston looked nothing like the team in the Bronx.... I'm so sour on the game 6 and 7 failures that I don't even give a sh!t about the WS this year

Sounds like a stretch. If the Yanks beat the Astros, I think they could have beaten the Dodgers, but that outcome would have been far from a guarantee.

This Yankees team is better than the Dodgers, that I will say with confidence.

Absolutely, and it's not even close...the Yankees came within 1 game of going to the WS. I don't think the Dodgers are even going back to LA. They're cooked tonight...the turning point in this series? Game 2, and the Dodgers blowing a sure win with 3 outs to go, and their best closer in the game.

Yankees should have won the world series this year... No, they shouldn't have. They lost the ALCS 4 games to 3, fair and square.

Fair and square? I've been watching every pitch of tonight's first game in Houston, under a microscope, and I've yet to see the home plate umpire squeeze the Dodgers the way the Yankee hitters (and pitchers) got squeezed in all four of their games in Houston.

Impartial strike zones, such as Brooks Baseball FX, didn't really show much of an advantage for the Astros on balls/strikes. I didn't see much of game 7 of the ALCS, but the K zone at Brooks showed it basically even for the two teams.
