More than any of the many campaign speeches Trump gave that made my skin crawl, when he stood at a podium and invited russia to hack sites to get information on Hilary was the worst. I had considered voting for Trump until that moment.

See I just saw that as a crude joke taunting Hillary for making a conscious effort to bypass the FOIA laws her husband expanded personally with executive order.

He say's so many foolish things I don't know what's a joke and what's serious.

I agree.  His preening over the death penalty and all that is annoying but to me that was clearly the candidate drawing attention to an opponent's crime that the vast majority of the media had no desire to put into context.

but fear not new - Trump didn't win decisively by any means...  this is a leftist nation for sure, they just ran the worst candidate possible.  Lefty's will come out in droves for someone like Bernie...  you'll have your fully democrat governement soon enough, and when the market tanks and peoples retirements disappear it will swing the other way, and then it will swing back...  it'll go back and forth for another 50 years and eventually there won't be anymore USA, but we'll be dead so at least I have that to look forward to.

Bill Clinton expanded the FOIA laws for the Executive Branch to include electronic communications with the stroke of a pen in his final lame duck year as President.  Using Bill's private server was not an oversight, it was premeditated to avoid a law they were quite familiar with.  Clearly a private server would not have the security of the government ones so it pointed to just house brazen Hillary was behaving.  By all accounts the Wikileaks came from hacking John Podesta.

True, everything sets a precedent and each subsequent politician encroaches a tad more beyond the checks and balances based upon the actions of their predecessor.

let's face it, when given a choice most people would rather get a handout than wake up at 6AM every morning to go to a job where they have to bust thier ass and then get half taken away so the handouts can keep on keeping on...  that is why I say this is a leftist nation...   programs, programs and more programs...  the suckers workers have no choice but to keep paying taxes to support the folks with their hands out...  America will end when the working guy eventually says...  'fk this!'

certainly not nor ever was a Bernie guy. I'm as disgusted with the Dems as I am with the Republicans.

Wrong again art, what people don't want is to have two and even three jobs and still can't pay for their health care, their groceries, their Dr. bills because they can't pay the insurance the right wants to put on them so the R. party can take away their insurance and give the cuts in insurances for tax breaks for the rich.. That's what you guys seem to not understand..

See Venezuela for the most recent example.  Treat the ambitious like criminals and punish them for their effort and eventually you can push them to the point where they say it's not worth it anymore and shut their doors.
