True, everything sets a precedent and each subsequent politician encroaches a tad more beyond the checks and balances based upon the actions of their predecessor.

Wrong again art, what people don't want is to have two and even three jobs and still can't pay for their health care, their groceries, their Dr. bills because they can't pay the insurance the right wants to put on them so the R. party can take away their insurance and give the cuts in insurances for tax breaks for the rich.. That's what you guys seem to not understand..

We understand all too well.  Look throughout history when governements have blamed entrepreneurs and investors but they are going to make things right.  Has it ever worked?  Has it ever left the people you are talking about better off than they started?

I don't agree Art.  I think people may not like Trump the person, but they see his policies are working, and with this new budget, they will see them working even more.  His victory in 2020 will be even more decisive, despite the Socialocrats trying to bring out their vote.  The real American working class will propel Trump to victory.

You can't even really credit Trump.  Simply by getting anti-business politicians out of the White House people are investing and trying to better themselves again.  We no longer have a business environment under seige.

well he f you look at it that way maybe you can credit Trump...  a huge cut in corporate taxes is what we need, he campaigned on that and I think the final bill will keep that cut to 20% (should be lower though)...

When was the business environment under siege under Obama? Under Obama's Presidency the economy got turned around for the better and some businesses got bailed out. That's being under siege?

A corporate tax cut to compete with other nations for jobs is understandable, but the tax loopholes should also be done away with. The same goes for the carried interest loophole. The latter was one of Trump's campaign promises. I might be mistaken, but I don't believe the elimination of the carried interest loophole is in the new tax code proposal.

The poor who need the money the most get a tax increase while the 1% get a tax cut.  The rate for the poor shouldn't be raised from 10% to 12%. That's just fk up. Plus, some middle class families tax breaks will end in 5 years. That tax code proposal looks to be a typical Con bait and switch same ole same ole trickle down bullspit they have been trying to sell the past 30 years.

More than any of the many campaign speeches Trump gave that made my skin crawl, when he stood at a podium and invited russia to hack sites to get information on Hilary was the worst. I had considered voting for Trump until that moment.

While, at nearly the same time, Hilledebeest was getting Russians to gather up dossiers on Trump and his little Trumplings.

Last year was a very nasty election, no doubt about it.

We've fallen a Helluva long ways from John Adams vs. Thomas Jefferson, ain't we though?

The most honest and honorable election last year would've been between Ted Cruz and, much as I despise and distrust him, BernButt, his very own self.

You haven't followed the news.  The Washington Free Beacon hired Fusion GPS but broke off ties long before an attorney for the Clinton campaign and the DNC commissioned them for the Steele dossier.  They requested libel from Fusion GPS.
