either way you slice it there both racist.

This is the Yankee forum ... we don't talk politics in the Yankee forum ... already too much has been said.

I am not the one who brought up the kneeling. ArtVandelay brought it up first in this thread.

But you wrote to me in this thread about politics ... so I responded to YOU

are you a moderator if so may be put a post to all posters to stop talking politics because clearly i am not the only one doing it. but somehow because you disagree with my veiepoint you single me out. seems kind of unfair dont you think?

You posted TO ME about politics ... that is why I responded the way I did ... next time don't post to me about politics and you won't get a response.

Also, one does not need to be a moderator to discuss the forum guidelines.

so as long as I dont post to you about politics I can talk politics in the Yankees forum?

why are you so argumentative lately.Chill out. Oh and at least acknowlege when you're wrong

Sorry Lola ... but someone asked me a question about racism and I didn't want to discuss it in the Yankee forum.

No worries... not your fault.

The moderator has come onto the forum several times over the years and told us not to discuss politics in the Yankee forum ... you are not special .. you don't get an exemption from the rules.

whatever lets just drop it we are veering off topic.

what a Difference compared to the NFL scum.  I have not missed the NFL one bit since I stopped watching.

The Constitution Of The United States Of America gives us the right not to have to stand for our National Anthem! I agree with this right and I am thinking of at the next game I go to not standing but kneeling  for the National Anthem. my parents went to see a band over the weekend the band did Jimi Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner every white Trumper in the place stood with there hands over there  hearts  except my parents who sat down for it. I think the sentement Is getting lost on Conservatives for what the Kneeling means, It Is a sign of Soladarity that a Marine friend of Kapernick suggested to do for Kapernick he said When you want to peacefully protest the Anthem you Kneel guys in the Miletary do that on ocasion and so did a great man Named, Martin Luther King Jr. Again the guy that suggested the Kneeling to Kappernick was a US Marine. The idea behind the Kneeling Isnt to say we dont appreciate the hard work cops do Day In and Day out I and I am sure most in the NFL support Police Officers what we are saying Is we dont support crooked Racist cops. Heck my sister was going to aply to the Police Academy after 9/11 but instead joined the Army we are very proud of her everyone In our family and when my Grandfather came back from WWII he was in the 740th Tank Betallion Dare Devil Tankers US ARMY he tried to become a cop but they told him he was to short to be a cop so basically he couldnt be a cop he was to short but he could fight the ****s in WWII  go figure I am sure the real reason they didnt want my grandfather as a cop he wasnt white enough for them he was Sicilian. point Is my familly and I believe most in the NFL Players anyway suport cops we just think all Civillians all people for that matter deserve to be treated the same no matter what race you are, or what color your skin is, or what religion you are, or what country you are from. it just seems fair.

As for the MLB how about the BS That Is not suspending Yuli for his Racist gesture during the WS Games. My entire family Is enraged the suspension isnt for the WS games he should be missing WS games. MLB's answer as to why he is not being suspended now is utter BS Because it hurts his teamates chances of winning the WS, well maybe if Yuli didnt want to hurt his teamates chances of winning the WS by getting suspended he shouldnt have made an offense like he did, a disgusting raceist offense.

as for the NFL Its biggest problem is to sit next to the field during a regular season game you have to pay thousands of dollors, to sit in even the upper deck during the regular season you have to pay hundreds of dollors.  they are pricing out most middle class famies from being able to go to the games only the super rich can go to games. what i wouldnt give to see my Giants play live but it is to expensive. at least you can get Yankees bleacher seats for about 12 or so dollars and you can sit in the upper deck for about 24 dollars.

The scum in the NFL have every right to do what they do( as long as their stupid employer allows them to do it), just like I have every right to turn the damn channel. Sports is an escape, I don't want politics shoved in my face, especially from a bunch of idiots whining about "oppression". Liberals want to make this into a first amendment issue, IT IS NOT.  The government is not infringing on these cry babies' rights, it is we, the consumers, who have told them to fk off. Now they will have to deal with it.
