We now have female sportscasters.  How does that come across with you guys out there?  What do the men think of it?

I have no issue with it,but I dont want them calling NFL, MLB, NHL,NCAA football games.  Soccer , Tennis, Golf, Hoops, the rest I'm fine with.

I think it works best when women sportscasters are paired as a team with a male sportscaster.  I am a fan a figure skating and most typically the sportscasters for this sport are a male and female team calling the action on the ice.  Of course, the dynamics are a bit different since women do also compete in figure skating whereas we do not have women playing in MLB games.  That being said, the team of a male and a female often adds something to the pot which is more complete than either alone would offer.

I remember years ago Keith Hernandez was calling a Mets game again st the Padres.  He announced in his most egregious tone "what is a woman doing in the dugout".  Turned out she was the tea.'s physical therapist.

Patty,  That is pretty funny. Healthcare including PT is something either sex can do equally well.  I don't think there is any good evidence anywhere that men are intrinsically smarter than women.  If the job takes brains vs physical strength to do well, it does not much matter.  If the job requires physical strength then it is very hard for women to compete successfully.

As a female health care provider, I can tell you that initially most men would probably prefer to see a male provider.  Typically, their first choice is the males working in the office and when they call that is who they ask for.  If male provider(s) is booked up, the receptionist schedules them with whoever has an opening and it might be me, a female.   Once they meet you, if they like you and the care they get from you, then they are fine with having a female and will rebook with you anytime.  From my experience, most men look to get an appointment with a male working in the office first but once they meet you if they like you and they think you know what you are doing, they will become your patient.  Next time, they will ask for you.

I have several inside sources with their ears to the ground. Everything that has been said in the media is false as the Yankees already have their sights on the right man for the job. If you think about it for a minute it becomes very obvious who this man is. It's the most brilliant baseball mind in over a century and would probably be even longer than that if baseball had only existed longer than that. Obviously the name that keeps coming up is none other than our very own....Coach Falcon.

No more second guessing for the Coach- this guy nows 100% of everything even before it happens. A true baseball savant who is also amazing at interacting with other people and the general public. A real win win for everyone. George Costanza is among my sources- a trusted source indeed.

Can we call in on the bullpen phone?

I'm kinda with Cam Newton on this topic. It's like me walking into a salon and being like- Why did that ladies last hair style suck so bad- did you not (insert something that I've never done in my life and have no clue what I'm talking about)?

But no- the world is too PC for blatant honesty. I'll shut up now before some libtard jumps my sh!t with pants full of peepee. Not to get political but for full disclosure I laugh at the right AND the left. We got any Antifa in here? Surely those sissy's will love this post.

To hell with them,Joey. This world is so screwed up that you can't have an opinion without someone having to approve it...  God forbid we offend some group or something.... Say what you think , who cares if someone gets mad?

Despite all the flying rumors, I have not yet been contacted with any compensation details. I'll be getting my own press agent to discuss the package in details.  Perhaps my solemn pledge to not consume any Ambien laced Gatorade (of any flavor) while in the dugout during any game impressed someone in the Management.

LOL....Funny.

Dude, you don't even know how to make a lineup!  (LOL)

I know you don't bat the closest thing we have to Babe Ruth or Mickey Mantle any higher than third in the lineup; I know that damn much.  That's more than Sleepy Joe knew.

Why not give your most dangerous hitter more opportunities to bat by moving up in the order??

Why not give your most dangrous hitter more opportunities in the first inning to hit with two or three runners on base - like managers, great and small, have been doing for the entire history of baseball?
