Despite all the flying rumors, I have not yet been contacted with any compensation details. I'll be getting my own press agent to discuss the package in details.  Perhaps my solemn pledge to not consume any Ambien laced Gatorade (of any flavor) while in the dugout during any game impressed someone in the Management.  Laughing

Me and my Brother In law always used to say that the both of us put together could Manage a team Together. Sadly my Brother In law  commited suicide in September 2016. He was heavily Into stats used to play multiple Fantasy sports leagues mostly Baseball and Hockey and I am heavily Into knowing how to construct lineups and knowing the 25 and 40 man lineup. I am just really good at it kind of rain man like. Sadly we will never know how we would have managed a team being that my brother in law is not with us anymore.

I have several inside sources with their ears to the ground. Everything that has been said in the media is false as the Yankees already have their sights on the right man for the job. If you think about it for a minute it becomes very obvious who this man is. It's the most brilliant baseball mind in over a century and would probably be even longer than that if baseball had only existed longer than that. Obviously the name that keeps coming up is none other than our very own....Coach Falcon.

No more second guessing for the Coach- this guy nows 100% of everything even before it happens. A true baseball savant who is also amazing at interacting with other people and the general public. A real win win for everyone. George Costanza is among my sources- a trusted source indeed.

If he manages like he posts I would be second guessing.

My guess is that they know exactly who the next manager will be and they are working out the deals of the contract - both sides heavily lawyered up - with picky details being gone over with a fine tooth comb.  It seems irrational to believe that they would let one manager go without having a second one in mind and probably even a backup for him,  just in case the deal falls through.  The people running these multi-million dollar corporations do not act without having all bases covered.  You can't rise to the top in these settings if you don't have good executive functioning skills. When the contracts are finalized, they will make the announcement.

Another thing which everyone forgets is that you don't have to be an ace and shining baseball star to manage a team.  Everyone is looking for big name ex-stars.  You have to have played at one point in your life but the skills needed to manage are a different set than the ones needed to be a star player.  Some people have both sets of skills but most have one or the other.

If that ever happens, this will happen to Jonah in a Toronto hotel on the night before Opening Day...
