Judge is also my favorite and even though the offseason playoffs and WS  are not supposed to count towards a decision I think Altuve will win it. I hope Judge is awarded the AL Rookie of the Year.

If Altuve doesn't win MVP, it would be a crime.

Judge and Severino are living charmed lives. Hope they keep their heads and appreciate every minute of it

Severino's already had a disastrous sophmore jinx and a bad Game 7. He's shown that when he's knocked down, he gets right back up and learns from bad experiences.

No doubt Altuve should win the MVP, and no doubt he was the best player in the AL this year.. He could play on my team anytime.. It just amazes me how he plays the game at such a small size... Hard to imagine anyone that swings from the heels so hard and still has that much contact.. The bad is teams are going to be watching him for a long while..

MVP means exactly what it stands for. The Astros still win without Altuve. The Yankees don't get to the playoffs without Judge and Cashman does not make the trades he did in July without Judge.

You can post it twice.  You're still wrong.

But, you're comparing apples and oranges (i.e., the value of two players to their respective teams). Of course Judge is more valuable to the Yankees, but that is because the Yankees as a team were not as good as the Astros. But, that doesn't make him a more valuable player. To make a more direct comparison, I think you have to compare their value on the same team. If you put Altuve on the Yankees, would his performance have made a bigger (more valuable) impact than Judges'? I think the answer to that question is "yes".

And the Astros don't get Verlander in July without Altuve and they don't even make it out of the division series.

You got it wrong.  Take Judge away from the Yanks, and take the midget away from the astros, and see what happens.

It's actually pretty simple, but people love to screw up free lunches sometimes...
