Just in from ABC News


Former MLB Pitcher Roy Halladay was killied in a plane crash off the coast of FLA. today. He was 40.

don't know where you live but I used to think that way when I was in NY - if you don't play on a winner what's the point, but after I moved to San Diego and watched most of Gwynn's career I realized that despite the fact he never won a WS he had a great career and was in a city that loved him, win or lose, I never saw Gwynn without a smile on his face...  I think Halladay had that with Toronto....

This is so sad. After retirement with finances in place he didn't get to enjoy the decades in front of him. I always like Halladay..competitive and classy. RIP.....

As reported Halladay got his pilots license 2014. Just bought his plane a month ago. A retired player with money to burn and time on his hands to explore his hobbies...devastating.
