Just heard the insulting comments on Roy Halliday by two would-be sports talk hosts in Boston, calling him an idiot, saying he "got what he deserved" (whatever that means), etc.  If you've got the stomach for it, it's all over youtube.

Another sad comment on the Boston sports scene.  Family is still grieving and these airheads are trying to draw attention to themselves so badly that is really is unbelievable.

I wonder what their take on it would be if it were, for example, Ortiz or Pedro .  No class whatsoever.  nc

Pedro was on MLB talking about Halladay and had very classy things to say about him.

Unbelievable, as reported The duo, who host a show on 98.5 SportsHub in Boston, decided to air a disgusting segment about how Halladay “got what he deserved,” including Felger calling Halladay a “****,” an “idiot” and a “****” repeatedly.

As quoted from those idiots.....“Wheee! Wheee! Yeah, man, look at the G-force on this! I’m Maverick!” Felger exclaimed in a mocking voice, followed by making explosion sounds. “‘Yeah, man, look at this, this is so cool.’ And you die, splat.”

Always proud to be a Yankee fan.

wow total dip$hit ... and in his half-baked "apology", he says "i'm not asking for any sympathy" (twice) ... are you kidding, what sympathy?? i'm surprised he even had a show to go to today. if it was my network, he'd be gone.

Meanwhile, former Red Sox pitchers are all class.

So, if a star athlete retires and kills himself with a cocaine overdose with his entire life ahead of him and more money than any human could want, would you not call him an idiot?  He did nothing more than kill himself with a different type of drug.  Maybe it's too early to trample on someone's grave but idiot is a fitting term.

when you lose any sense of empathy, perhaps it's time for an EMT to change careers. You must be qualified to be CEO of any number of Fortune 500 companies

They are idiots and have no empathy for someone that got killed. Munson died doing what he wanted, but we all grieved when he was killed. Halladay was an excellent pitcher and he leaves behind his wife and two boys.

My deepest Sympathy to his entire family.

This is what we expect from a Boston jerk.
