He was let go because he kept insisting the Yanks should sign "Brandon" Arroyo, The Little Gurrl with the Curl.

I find Esiason et al annoying. I tune in for a few mins in between commercial breaks when listening to NPR. I come to my own opinions I don't need those talking heads to make them for me. A little time spent scrolling through various credible online media will enable one to get a fuller spectrum.

Additionally, listening to 10mins of chat followed with 5 mins of commercial airspace is annoying. 1/3 of the time is devoted to ads...

maybe Francesa talked too much about sports...  we all know that today you have to be a hip millennial and discuss (bash the right) politics along with sports...  today's topic:  lack of transgender coaches in the NHL....

Too much sports???? It seems every time I tune in it's one ad after another waiting for some talk of sports to begin..  I find it so annoying to a point of tuning out.  I get more info online than wasting time waiting for some talk of sport to begin. Online you can pick and choose the sports of interest not so listening to the radio with chats of horse racing, etc...

Dude....for one thing, this is old news.

Second, he is not being let go, he's leaving the radio station. It's a planned exit.

Lastly, he's still on WFAN right now. Therefore he is not "out"

WFAN is awful from sunrise to seunset. Boomer, Benigno and Robert, and Francesa are all terrible. If you try ESPN you suffer with racist Stephen A Smith and then the Michael Kay show which is unlistenable since they added that Peter guy. NYC deserves better sports radio.
