The Republicans just helped the Democrats turn the White House and the Senate for sure ... blue in 2020 ... even the House could turn blue.

The tax bill will be their undoing.

Here I thought Trump's platform was helping the hard working class/middle class. Fiscal conservatives???? In fact the opposite holds true as this tax cut will boost the deficit to added trillions.  Nicely done GOPs...now we will see reduction in SS, Medicare, Medicaid to counteract such cuts.  Trump's 33% supporting base will have to swallow his rhetoric and surfacely demonstrate their approval.

Watch for the stock market reflect such cuts.... it's a dual sword, can I complain if my portfolio soars? Foot in Mouth

You are correction in your analysis....DEMs will take back the WH in 3 years....This tax cut/deficit will be a burden to the generations ahead.

I'm not sure who's going to win in 2018 and 2020. What I do know is that the GOP tax code proposals aren't a tax break for the middle class. It's a windfall for the 1% and the big donor lobbyists. What happened to drain the swamp?

Most middle income folks will be paying more in taxes come April ... they'll remember that in November.

Actually, you're wrong.  Most middle income folks will enjoy a modest tax decrease, except in high tax states.  Honestly, if the $10K exemption in 1 version of the bill stays in place, all middle income folks will enjoy a tax cut, even in high tax states.

You're not telling about the deductions that the middle class has lost, the cost of health care going up and the cuts in Medicare, Medicaid etc. I suppose you are going to tell us that with the savings of $1000. like some R. Senator stated, the middle class could go out and buy a new car, or they could go on that vacation they always wanted to do... LOL.. Pray tell me where I can buy that new car or go on that vacation, if so, I want ten of each... LOL.. And I suppose you're going to tell me that the tax cut is really going to hurt Donald like he stood up and told the people, when it actually saves him and his family Millions and some cases Billions... You can throw a bone to the middle class but we don't have to accept it...
