on MLB Network they said Yankees are interested in Alex Cobb,
what do you guys think?

I'd rather see what Montgomery could do over a whole season.

If the Yankees are going to sign a free agent starting pitcher I rather they sign Lance Lynn.

I know Cobb Isnt an ace, he is 30 and might not have Great numbers but  he seems to be a pitcher that always seems to beat us and make our hitters swing and miss, may be he can help us out in a simelar way he beat us over the years. That Is probably the reason the Yanks are interested. and he would probably come cheap. you guys keep bringing up to me we wont spend a lot of money this off season. this is a move that could facilitate this thinking of not spending a lot yet improving the team.

He was a pretty good pitcher before the TJ. He seemed ok after, and they usually improve as time goes on. He is also AL East proven, that removes certain question marks. If he fits financially, why not?

possibly the dude with the bowtie on FOX MLB Games of the week i heard it on MLB Network i forget who said it but it was a baseball writer. it has been a rumor for a while MLB Network just confirmed it today.
