Trump-obsessed mosque shooter said he wished he’d killed more people during his attack

A man who shot and killed six Muslims in a Quebec mosque in January 2017 told a court-appointed social worker that he wished he’d shot more people during the attack.

Huge sporting goods chain says it will be purging and destroying assault-styleweapons

But according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Dick’s Sporting Goods is making sure that those weapons do not appear somewhere else.

Typically a retailer may return unsold merchandise to the manufacturer. But in this case, Dick’s Sporting Goods has decided to destroy them.

“We are in the process of destroying all firearms and accessories that are no longer for sale as a result of our February 28th policy change,” a spokeswoman told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “We are destroying the firearms in accordance with federal guidelines and regulations.”

That's a foolish thing to say. Ever think that maybe those 2 guys had knives instead of guns is because laws that liberals supported stopped them or made it harder for them to have guns.

Ok Comrade Art Marx denounce your recent post, which you

know to be untrue:

I guess Harvard Law Review doesn't know what they're talking about...

And then apologize to John Fugelsang for being right.

If a traffic intersection in one's hometown was noted for an unusual number of fatalities the community would be outraged and demand that something be done about it. Those in charge of traffic control would then set about trying to find a solution. That solution would NOT be a design that increases the amount of traffic. However in the gun debate 13,000 gun related homicides occur each year and the Conservative solution is more guns? You don't fight diabetes by giving the patient more sugar, or reduce obesity by feeding the patient more food. Why do you think gun violence can be cured by increasing the amount and availability of guns?

At least half of those supporting less restrictive gun laws do so only out of some petulant need to attack anything that smacks of liberalism whether its good policy or not.  The other 49.999% of the civilian population will never find the need to use a gun in self-defense.

And why don't they find the need?  Do you notice during times of natural disaster, looters don't go after businesses where the owners state that they are armed to protect their shops?  They go after the low-hanging fruit.  If they take our guns, everything becomes low-hanging fruit for the criminals with guns.  Right now, a criminal has no idea what they're walking into when they consider robbing my house.  They don't know whether it's a liberal snowflake that will hide in their safe place or me, who will fit them up for a pine box.
