I don't want to know how many days in a row, but rather, how many GAMES in a row...For example...The Yankees were rained out 1 game on Saturday, and 2 games (a doubleheader) on Sunday, which means they were rained out of 3 games (1 which was supposed to be a makup game). So going by this formula, what's the record for the most consecutive games postponed in MLB history?

It's only 2 games Coco... I made the same mistake. Sat and Sun games were rained out.

Looking outside the window now it looks like it's going to start raining again.  It poured all last night and this morning... the sun was out for about 5 minutes around noon. Who knows if they'll play tonight...

If they get rained out tonight (which is starting to look more like a probability, since it's flooding outside my home, and I live about a half hr from the Bronx), then will they play a doubleheader tomorrow?

no need to discuss, I already called the game...  but I do expect the Yankees to make everyone show up, buy Steiner Sports collectibles and $19 beers and then call it after a 3.5 hour delay...

It hasn't rained here in Staten Island in some hours now. The roads and sidewalks are bone dry, and the sun was actually blazing through my window just about an hour ago. I have no doubt they are playing this game tonight. We had an enormous amount of rain since last night and especially this morning. The dirt below the outfield grass might be a little soft, though Yankee Stadium is said to have some of the best field drainage among all sports stadiums.
