The Yankees are mostly a right-handed hitting lineup. By now every team knows how to beat them by pitching right-handed power pitchers. They're even more beatable when Boone leaves Bird and Didi out of the lineup. Not sure why Tyler wasn't pinch hit for with Bird.

Yet look at their record when 2/3 of the pitchers in baseball are right handed.

Yes, remember they beat the Astros mostly by beating their bullpen. The still haven't beaten Verlander, Morton or Cole. As evidence from the second game, if you throw right-handed power relievers the Yankees cannot score runs.

As a team the Yankees have hit .259/.339/.473 vs righties. Vs lefties they have hit .256/.337/.462.
The Yankees have 1572 plate appearances vs righties. Vs lefties they have 582 plate appearances. They also have the best record in baseball even if they lose this game. So all teams need to do is pitch righties?

You're looking at averages compiled against mostly mediocre pitchers. Tell what the averages are against the top pitchers which they will see in the playoffs.

This kid has no idea that the best teams lose 55-62 games. Absolutely clueless
