   Just a bad team loss.

I agree...now that the frustration is over...just get over it, and move on. I DO hope Boone has a meeting with these guys to remind them to take it up a notch when they play rotten teams...Maybe the Yankees should hire a team hypnotist to make all the players think the other team is wearing Astros or Red Sox uniforms.

Awful game! Really poor pitching this series. This on them. Only one to show up was Cessa! Now Gray has tremendous pressure for tomorrow. Not good when you wanna straighten him out. Sonny gonna be public enemy #1 in the Bronx if he loses the game. Not fair bc this team played way below its ability against Baltimore but he will get the blame I’m sure

Why does Gray have tremendous pressure? Even if we lose tomorrow and all four games in Cleveland, there's still the second half of the season to get the team back in gear. The reason they're losing is simple, this is not the team that won all those games earlier this season. That team consisted of Torres and Sanchez, both of whom will be back for the 2nd half. No problem...just a little tune up and we'll be fine.

Ok? i never said they won’t be fine. You need to convince yourself since you’re always running around screaming the sky is falling whenever the yanks not winning. I’m just referring to Gray and his fragile mentality which will need to be fixed sooner rather than later if the yanks wanna contend for the division. Sanchez stinks this year btw so I don’t know why you’re looking forward to him saving our butts. Has he worked out his passed balls issue yet?

certainly should have scored more runs but this was a rare failure by the bullpen.

interesting that we've now bookended a 41-13 run by two 9-9 runs. the good news is we made up 7 1/2 games in only 16 games the 1st time around. plenty of baseball - still 72 games to go but they've raised the degree of difficulty. this team can really use the all-star break and hopefully w reinforcements after the break and the trade deadline we can make a run for the gold.

I'm wondering just how mentally ready the Yankees are for that 4 game series in Cleveland, after the Baltimore fiasco...a series where they should've been thinking sweep, and now they're wondering if they can simply break even against the worst team in baseball.

I don't want to hear any excuses. That team is almost 40 games out of first place. Nobody else other than the Mets and the Yankees has any trouble beating them. We should be able to beat hem with half a team. And Sanchez has been terrible most of the season anyway. Yes we can lose tomorrow and four games against Cleveland but that will likely put us 8 1/2 games behind Boston. And if we fall that far behind Boston the division race will be over for sure. And the Yankees will spend the entire second half of the season trying to hold on to a wild card spot.

The Yankees don't need a tune up. They need a kick in the pants from their manager.A disgraceful performance by the entire team.

Gray needs to do the job he gets paid for. He has been screwing the Yanks out of their money since we got him.  He owes us!!!

Gray is the one player who has hurt the Yankees the most this year.

His terrible pitching has cost them too many games already.

Yeah, I'm sadly aware of that.
