Especially if tonight means Sevy now has "it" - wow those three will make us very scary in the PS, with or without Judge.

Whatever he and Gary talked about to fix things up seems to have worked.   This is as good as Sevy gets, I hope he's not teasing me because I can see riding that kind of arm deep in to the play-offs.

Scary will be the A's, who everyone will expect are just happy to be in the wildcard, and like the Yankees did last year, they will take it much further than just that.

If this team doesn't snap out of it's hitting slump I don't care how well they pitch .....

That is certainly a major issue now. Sanchez and Didi are back, but this team's hitting is still dismal. And against mediocre-to-bad pitchers no less.

Their terrible RISP performance that has been their problem all year shows no sign of abating. Now they are even having difficulties getting men on base in general.

If I'm correct, I think they are 6 or 7-10 on this road trip.. And the really bad we only played one good team on this trip, the Oakland A's...

You can thank Mr GM for that. For the past few years or so, this team's situational hitting has been dismal. Rather than chasing after guys that hits more for average, he continuously chase after all-or-nothing sluggers. When is the last time this team has had hitters hit over .300 consistently?

Remember last year's team? This year's only has what like 6 or 7 different players than we had last yr? So why are they so friggin boring this year? Last year they were fun to watch, win or lose, becuase you just knew they would battle back. Now they're just a boring team to watch. I'm curious to see what Cashman plans for the off-season, because this team's problems goes beyond just starting pitching!

Sevy still isn 't getting the nod from me to start that playoff game.  I'll go with Tanaka in the 1 game playoff then Happ to start the series if they win that game.

This sleepwalking starts right at the top, Boone doesn't have any fire, at least not in my way of thinking... This team leads the world in HR's, that seems to be the only stat they are proud of... For a while I thought Stanton was a bad move, then he got hot for a while, but now I'm thinking I was right to start with ?? I know Judge went down with the wrist injury, I think he's more of a spark plug than we realize ??

I would hope they would make a couple of big moves, they could be hard to pull off, but in the offseason, I'd try to move Stanton, and give Boone his walking papers, Ca$hman probably wouldn't do that, but a team that went into the slide that we've gone in should place some blame somewhere.. I'd also get a new pitching coach, a new hitting coach and cut ties with CC, Gardner, and go after a hitter that can hit for average and not swinging for the fence.. We need to add a couple of pitchers, along with trying to sign Happ and Britton...

I know I'm frustrated as a fan,  but this team looked like a very good team but pitching and hitting win baseball games, right now this team is good at neither...
