The time is now to be peaking if a WS title is the goal. Judge is the only hitter on the DL and this team was near a no-hitter. I don't get it. Base hits and stolen bases will score runs, must we always swing for a dinger? If a team can't rise to the occasion in mid-Sept then the 2018 NYY pls clean ot the lockers. Pittyful. :-(

I really  don't  think  they  were swinging for the fences last night especially  later in the game as they were being no hit. I think they were trying to put the ball  in play and hit a lot of attem balls  along with some great defensive  plays by theTwins. It appears to me they can't  make contact at the right time.

Winning 5 of last 11 games, hitting issue is more than last night. Lately, the good teams are winning and the NYY are sinking. Just the facts.

All one has to do is look at the difference between the RS, Astro's, even the A's as of lately, they win the games they should win... Ever since the All Star Break we've played around.500 baseball and as of the last 15 or so games we haven't even played .500 baseball, that's where the problem lies...

7-9 in the last 16 games, for a .438 winning %.

And the sad part, we should have at least went 10-6 because of the quality of the teams we played... The A's are the best team, losing to the Twinkies and the White Sox was a disgrace... That's why we're fighting for home field in the WC race...
