Kluber is about as tough as they come, he's been in a Hallady-like phase for a few years now.   Carrasco is really good as well.  If he's not an ace he's a beyond-solid #2.   Kluber is a stud, a pure ace.

I doubt either one would come all that cheaply, but Kluber especially is better than any available FA pitcher.   Pair one of these two with Corbin and now we're talking.

Both of those Indian starters would be great additions, but what would we have to give up to get one of them ?? I think it would be very hard on the young players we have and the ones we would like to hold on to, teams want to rape us for our talent but will take a lot less from other teams ??

They are going to have to be blown away to trade Kluber but he's the type you do it for.He is signed through 2021 with options picked up ending at age 35. Sheffield and Florial to start.

Baumgarner can be a free agent after next season. Could be a cheaper get . Younger then Kluber even though he seems to have been around forever.

no matter what the demand? Try any of  Andjuar, Torres, Sheffield and Florial. Thanks , but not thanks . He is heading towards the wrong side of 30.

The old mantra used to be never trade an every day player for a pitcher. The every day player can help you every day you play, a pitcher only every 5th day or a couple of innings a week.   Now it seesm like it shoud be everyday players can break but pitchers are more likely to.

Andujar plus for Kluber?

I agree with that about trading a position player for a pitcher, especially one who had the year Andujar had. I would not surrender him in any deal. He is a very young at 23, dirt cheap, and controlled for years.

He could be putting up big numbers for years after Kluber is long gone. Doing that would be reverting back to former Yankees trades of the past, rashly giving up young players for older veterans.
