Rumor is McSally will be appointed to replace Jon Kyl who is holding McCain's seat until January. If so she'll face a special election in 2020 and then again in 2022.

If she couldn't beat a candidate like Sinema why would she ever be granted the nomination again?

Martha McSally appointed to fill late Senator McCain's seat for Arizona

PHOENIX — Martha McSally has reportedly been appointed to the Senate seat once filled by late Senator John McCain.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey announced her appointment to the position Tuesday morning.

McSally lost her bid for Arizona's other Senate seat to Kyrsten Sinema just weeks ago.

The Republicans at the state level are not serving the people.  Irresponsible tax cuts shrink state budgets and reduce services people expect.  Draconian suppression resulted in countless eligible voters being turned away or forced to fill out provision ballots not counted in the 2016 and 2018 elections because their names either were similar to people's names in other states or their various ID info had slight differences like inclusion or no inclusion of middle initials, order of address information, etc.  Land and tax exemption "gifts" to corporate interests that squeezed out local small businesses have become very unpopular as well.  It is becoming clear to even the most obtuse citizens that the GOP is in it for the wealthy and corporate interests in a symbiotic relationship that brings donor cash in return to fund the campaigns of Republilcan candidates that feed continuing cycles of the downward spiral.
