Since 2004, Sox have won 4 championships (2004, 2007, 2013, 2018) to the Yankees' 1 (2009).

What are they doing right and what are we doing wrong?

Uh, the Yanks losing to the Dbacks and the Marlins?

It's called "luck".

If the Yanks win in 2019, will people say, Yankees 1, Red Sox 0?

This is the dumbest thing to dumb I've ever dumb dumb dumb.

How many World Series to the Yankees have overall?

Since 1996 the Yankees have won 5 WS while have Boston has won 4. What does it all mean?

An existential question that we must all ask of ourselves eventhough there may never be an answer.

It's not dumb. I know you may not like it (neither do I) but being honest with ourselves is not being dumb. Sometimes you have to confront the unpleasant. Of course we still more WC overall but we are talking about recent history here, which is what all of us experienced not somethng from 70 years ago.

Of course if you don't like the topic, you don't have to click on this thread. It doesn't mean others can't talk about it.

I find it very strange that they go...what...86 years between WC's and all of a sudden, 4 in 14 years. Coincidence or something else?

I don't think it is an unfair question. Whether we admit it or ignore it, the Red Sox supplanted the Yankees as the premier franchise in MLB. We can talk about all the great things the Yankees did in previous generations, but that doesn't give the present leadership group a pass.

Whether it is the Yankees, the Celtics or the Canadiens a sports franchise cannot live in the past.
