Yeah..Trump a real man of the people.  Attempting to divert funds designated for Texas, Puerto Rico, florida, and Calif disaster to pay for his vanity wall. What an a$$ hole

Border wall funds could be diverted from a pool meant for Puerto Rico, Texas and other areas hit by disasters

And now the Congressional Republicans are playing the victim card...this is a travesty of their own making.  "No way forward..." says Lil' Lindsay.  There was a way forward when Trump said he would OK the bi-partisan deal and then backed out of it.  This is beyond the pale...

As McConnell refused to bring bills passed in the House on to the Senate floor..the continuous shut down is placed squarely on his shoulders as he carries Trump's bucket.  I hope come 2020, Trump/McConnell and GOPs will pay dearly. Bunch of sheeps following this numbskull to the toilet.

Graham is calling for Trump to declare a National Emergency for one reason, and one reason only. It relieves him and other Republicans of any responsibility in this contrived drama. They can now claim it's out of their hands.

I see Yank s post was ignored probably not even read the article he posted a link to. I think the president did a fine job last night but should've made a big deal how democrats were all for barriers until Trump wanted it and the pettiness of it all on our national security. Yea let's ignore Yank s article........ the border agents on the border who want the barrier ...and the many murder victims of bad illegals. It's common sense we need a barrier but pettiness personal hatred for Trump blow common sense to pieces.

Did you read it? Did you see the part where Trump rejected money for a wall last year in return for a path to citizenship for 1.7 undocumented immigrants?

Who brought that plan up first for citzenship to 1.8 million dreamers?

Obama.

He said 1.8?

Trump offers to triple Obama's amnesty number in exchange for tougher security laws

The number was whatever it was when Obama created DACA.

I remember that very well Yank I was shocked like triple Obama's number???? I know the real deal apart don't remember all details.

I remember what happened. The Democrats called Trump's bluff, they agreed to that deal and they also agreed to give him money for the wall. Trump backed out of the deal. Which shows his offer was nothing but a bluff.

Graham is an idiot. Declaring a National Emergency would set a bad precedent. Anyone that backs Trump declaring a National Emergency shouldn't complain if a Dem POTUS declares a National Emergency about gun violence and climate change. Then starts ordering oil refineries and gun shops to close.

That would be amusing.  Close oil refineries and we would dip into depression so fast people would be starving.

Graham is a spineless little weasel...just like McConnell and many others. That's why he's calling for Trump to declare a National Emergency, which he and others can hide behind.

Then, shockingly, Trump lied. Said it was the design of a "previous" administration.
