I was pretty upset with how unremarkable Trump's speech was.  He is terrible off of the teleprompter.  The thing that saved it you have to agree is that Chuck and Nancy were so much worse.

I see Yank s post was ignored probably not even read the article he posted a link to. I think the president did a fine job last night but should've made a big deal how democrats were all for barriers until Trump wanted it and the pettiness of it all on our national security. Yea let's ignore Yank s article........ the border agents on the border who want the barrier ...and the many murder victims of bad illegals. It's common sense we need a barrier but pettiness personal hatred for Trump blow common sense to pieces.

Wow, I'm shocked you thought he did a good job last night.

Shocked?????

c'mon Lauren, if Trump peed on the Washington Monument, craner would brag about what a pretty color it was

Just saying....I'll be shocked if Craner thought Trump deserve a few pinocchios....pondering and thinking smiley

Smart remarks instead of dialogue......Mark Morgan border patrol chief under OBAMA was passionately for the wall/barrier especially remembering his agents who gave their lives protecting our border. Trump is doing what's right for the nation should've been done long long ago.

Still waiting for you to break on through to the other side

known as reality.  While Open Border Donnie was pimping

his one-dimensional border wall, the Democratic leaders

(notice how I didn't use right-wing ebonics used as a dog whistle

to other American-hating bigots) were correctly arguing for

a comprehensive approach to deal with the border issues.

This is a fool's errand.  All money spent on the border is a waste if they don't do National E-Verify.  I don't want tech and boots on the ground collecting and processing border jumpers to release to US homeless shelters and missions.  That's reality.

AOC was on decrying hieleras (ice boxes or derisive slang for detention centers).  With this I can agree.  Shut them down.  Stop securing the border from illegal immigration.  It is long past due that we pass and strictly enforce National E-Verify.  Border enforcement should only be for apprehending drug traffickers.  If someone that can not work here wants to sneak in to visit they can do it at their own risk without the insinuation that we are willing to detect process and care for them if they place themselves in harms way.

I wonder if anyone last night contribute to the con man's secure the border fund.  After all that was the purpose of last night's national crisis broadcast.  A faux fund toward Trump's reelection.

I did not and have never donated to a political campaign or PAC.

How many people do you think donated the $80million war chest of Beto's attempt to take beautiful Ted's seat?  I would bet that an awful lot of that money came from a handful of sources with multiple tiny donations hoping to skirt Campaign Finance laws.

Point is, it was a pathetic scam. There is no such thing as "The Secure The Border Fund".

Whatever was donated went to Trump's re-election committee.
