Could resign with the nationals.   How funny would that be?

Why would that be funny?  Washington has the 9th largest payroll already and wants to retain their franchise player, especially with the money they put into their rotation.

It will be funny when the Yankees pass on both he and Machado, and finish 8 games behind Boston again.

I don't see either as our game changer.  We don't need to win the offseason like last year.  Just have the right pieces in place when the season starts.

Do you see any of the right pieces falling into place?

I'd offer him $188 million for 7 years.  Not one penny more, not one day more.  If that means we don't sign him then too bad, so sad, he'll just have to play elsewhere.

Going to be interesting to see who blinks first Machado or Harper ?? I'm sure when one does the FA market will pick up pretty fast...

Gonna be a long painful season unless the Yankees do something soon.  This team is still not built to win a championship.

From what we've added and subtracted, this team is better going into the 2019 season than it was going into the 2018 season ...

Our season will depend on staying healthy will decide more than if we add either Harper or Machado ?? Ca$hman will add a SS or a 2nd baseman to fill in until Didi gets back.. Stanton will have a better year, last year was a learning year, hopefully Judge can stay healthy, his injury was a freak accident, not a health issue... We have added Paxton/Happ and Britton, who will be with us from day one...

Without a doubt, this team is better coming out of the gate than they were last year...
