I have to call BS twice. The wall he promised Mexico would pay for would cost between 25-30 Billion Dollars. That's more than just certain areas.

Also, a sincere person wouldn't try to fund raise over something he called a national emergency in his speech.

Come off it!  Trump is a xenophobe and a bigot.  He long ago made it obvious who the "bad illegals" are and who the "good illegals" are.  The good ones are the ones he can exploit in his businesses.

As proof he's also making it harder for people to legally apply for US citizenship. I guess he wants to change the rules being people from Europe aren't coming here by the boatloads anymore. It's obvious to anyone that is paying attention that he and some in his base want to slow down the eventual browning of America.

Trump is going off the rails with "national emergency" talk.  If any Republican members of Congress back this sh;tshow, they deserve to be voted out at the earliest opportunity.

It's clear to me that his staged walking out of a meeting gimmick was a show for the likes of Coulter and Rush. If he declares a national emergency the wall funding will end up in court for years.

Open the government then negotiate. Again, a wall alone is useless without securing all ports of entry. A wall alone is like someone locking their doors but leaving their windows open.

The bill the dems backed a few years ago address fencing and securing all ports of entry. But it appears he just rather play games because he governs like a toddler.

Crooked Donnie angrily insists Mexico is paying for the wall ‘indirectly’: ‘I never said they’d write a check!’

What then, with a credit card or cash?  Open Borders

Donnie is a sociopath who lives in an alternative reality.

...as far back as Trump's presidential announcement, the president made it clear that Mexico would be funding the wall.

"I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I'll have Mexico pay for that wall," Trump said in June 2015.

Additionally, the Trump campaign released a plan designed to coerce Mexico to make a direct $5 billion to $10 billion payment that would go toward the wall.

"It's an easy decision for Mexico: make a one-time payment of $5- 10 billion to ensure that $24 billion continues to flow into their country year after year," a plan from the campaign reads.

Later, Trump began to say that Congress would appropriate funds for the wall and then Mexico would pay that money back at a later date.

Democrats KNOW a barrier is needed in certain areas. But their hatred for Trump keeps them from doing what they should. President election next yr can't have Trump have his wall/barrier victory. Hope logical people see that . You trump haters won't

What victory can he declare? He promised many times that Mexico was going to pay for the wall. No matter how anyone wants to spin it, wall or no wall that's an epic failure by not keeping that promise.

The Democrats are for fencing in certain areas and I haven't heard one of them oppose a Tech-wall. But none of that has anything to do with Trump shutting down the government. 800,000 Federal workers and Farmers shouldn't be held hostage. Tarriffs are hurting Farmers and those same Framers are getting screwed again because they aren't getting their tariff relief checks.

I'd  lve to hear Pelosi or Schumer say they would agree to a Tech wall. Never happen.

Always comes back to race. What color was Officer Singh? Can't have enough people like him come here. Legally and for the right reasons.

To anyone paying attention is that most Americans want people to come here legally but for some reason Dems try to make it about race.
