.298 !!!!! He has a .264 career road avg (away from coors field) and he is switching leagues.

Expect him to hit between .220 and .260 ... best guess is .240

Are you still predicting Wade will be a 15-20 HR guy?

Never said 15-20 but 10-15 yes he could be at Yankee stadium

Also predicted Adujar would be a 25 HR 40 2B guy when everyone and I mean everyone wanted to dump him for Brandon Drury ... give me props !

Harper I'd like to get, Machado forget it (too many issues imo). Also concur that many factors we fans are not aware of come into play on signing a given FA or not. I do care about money and contract length if it impairs the team going forward, and if it keeps my cable bill increasing for YES and MLB.

I've never wanted Machado...since long before any of the postseason nonsense.

Harper...yes. LH power bat is something Yanks are desperately in need of. Honestly, I expected to dislike him when he came into the league, considering how he'd been touted as the next MLB superstar since he was a teenager. I think he did a great job of keeping his ego in check...tough to do for a kid who was on the cover of SI at 16. He's done nothing, IMO, to deserve any negative perceptions.

Not being in the NYC area, I subscribe to MLB.TV. Think last year it was something like $120. which I consider relatively cheap entertainment for 162 Yankee games +. Ticket prices are crazy...even here. Yanks will be visiting for 2 games in Apr-May. I was able to get tix 30 rows back of Yankee dugout for a discounted price of $85. ea., which is dirt cheap compared to YS prices. But...I had to buy a mini plan of 12 games in order to qualify. I chose the opening 3 game series against Red Sox. I'll go to the Opening Day game, but sold the other 2 games to a friend who's a Red Sox fan. Bought 3 games vs Cubs, 2 vs Dodgers, 2 vs Giants. I'll put most of those up on Stub Hub...tons of Cubs fan transplants & snow birds out here so those should go quick and of course Dodgers & Giants are division rivals, so shouldn't have any problem dumping those. Actually, I'll probably come out ahead $$$.

Crazy. I don't know how families do it now. I was a Rockies season ticket holder since '93. Tix 10 rows behind 3B were $30.

I am being totally forthcoming with this:

I was one of the many who bought the Drury stories.

I believed that he had the "launch Angle" thing figured out after spending his winter with Pujols, the whoole nine yards.

He may have been a nice player here, but they said that about Wally Pipp too. Guess nobody ever told Gehrig, and it looks like nobody ever told Andujar.

Good for him. The guy can hit..

AND I do NOT want to see him lose his job but I am all for a better team.

Actually, that thought had crossed my mind. The only way I want to see Andujar gone would be for a stud SP...and even then I'd be sad to see him go.

Me too. Another possibility is that the Yankees have an understanding with the Dodgers and if they do not land Harper, Stanton goes home to California and Andujar becomes a DH. That gets the Yankees under the cap and maybe a spare Dodger starter to provide depth for the Bronx rotation.

   Just dreaming.

For the money Tulo was a great pickup but no way can they count on him to be healthy and play a lot based on his past. If he can great but they can't be going into the season counting on it.

I think Andujar is staying now that it appears they are moving on from Machado.

You may want to consider the Yankees only MLB.TV.  I think I got it for $94 last year.  I live in NH and Maine (in the summer) so they black out games with the Red Sox, but I can watch them on the Red Sox network.  Actually, if I'm listening on the radio I prefer the RS announcers to Sterling and Waldmyn.

i dont understand what Cashman is doing ..# 1 he brings CC back ...i think this is a mistake , now he just had a stent inplanted...is he going to give 7 innings everytime out ? i dont think so , that $$ would have been better served on another starter ...#2- signing Gardner up impedes Frazier ...also prevents Stanton from everyday OF work .another lefty bat is needed ..Harper ? if this is on the table, then a trade must be made  ...thats a mega contract. but who knows. as for DJ Lem signing this baffles me unless this guy plays 1B..btw i think Bird is not long for the club  ....i would have preferred Marwin Gonzales ...i hope Cashman stays with Andujar ...what happens now when DD comes back ? is DJ Lemahu  a "super utility " ? Tulo, if healthy can play , Cashman went on to say ..he will get the shot to play ..odd then goes out and sign LeMahieu..what about Wade filling in ? ..was he even considered ? .

bringing back Happ, was good, trading for Paxton was solid..also bringing  back Britton was needed as setup/closer ..dont forget Monty is back sometime this summer ..does he go to pen , spot starter ?...

"it's when the Yankees score eight runs in the first inning .....and then slowly pull away"

I can't say I remember Tulowitzki in his prime. Wrong league, wrong time zone for me. But I doubt he can be more than adequate at 34. I don't know what Cashman is thinking. Third base or even second I could understand, but SS ?

Albatross contracts should be avoided, as well as making a guy with so many character issues the highest paid player on your team.

Is he a rapist? Murderer? Pedophile?   Someone I know who is an Oriole fan says he is a good guy as well as player.  I know he has issues with the Sux, which is a good reason to sign him! I believe the "character issues" are overblown.
