Let's all pray that he stays healthly during the Yankees 2019 MLB Spring Training Camp, so MLB teams that are interested in him will want to make a trade, like the Giants or Diamondbacks.

Job on the bench maybe, job as the starting CF?   Hicks would have to get injured, and he'd have to outplay Gardner.

I'm very curious to see how he runs after dealing with planar fascitis during his year+ long rehab process.  If he's lost his speed he has almost zero value.   The only chance they'll have to trade him then will be if he needs more rehab, maybe some team would deal a bad contract back in return and be content to collect Ells' insurance $$.   For a team not trying to win now that might have some attraction.

What is he if he can't run?   An aging DH made of glass (faulty glass at that) with little power who hasn't played in a long time.

I sure as hell would not trust him with a full time position!

If people feel like it conflates a temporary injury with a debilitating disability, what's the big deal with changing it? I mean, they might have to print out some new forms that have the corrected term for filing paperwork, but other than that, who cares?

Probably some disabled people caught the latest outrage syndrome bug. It’s everywhere these days. Glad the Redskins didn’t cave and change their name.

I'm legally disabled, but I'm not whining about the DL. An injured player that cannot play is "disabled". But the PC police have to sanitize everything... Sad.

it gets worse every day. before too lone we won’t be able to call baseballs “baseballs” because it will be femenine non-inclusive. You because balls n stuff, even though some women apparently have balls. FML.

PC BS...   And why some don't have the balls to call it what it is, I don't know.
