What happens if clint bangs his head again and ends up on the 60 day DL? You've stripped away all the OF depth.

It's a roster crunch if ellsbury and gardner are both healthy, but let's not forget that we were making waiver wire claims for guys like jace peterson to start in CF because of injuries. The fact is, at several times last year, we could have used ellsbury

Gardner is a good LF, hopefully his bat bounces back. But even just leadership qualities in the clubhouse, he's an excellent fit. He and Judge are quite close. During his rookie year, Judge was crashing on his couch

They should have never ever ever!  Signed Gardner.  Eat Ellsbury Gardner should be Gone w Harper Clint = 4th OF.  But here we all are againg talking about the SAME GAPPING HOLE IN LF.

Either Stanton can play 130 Games in LF if NOT GO GET A LF!

The only depth Ellsfairy provides is the hole he has put the payroll in.    You could consider we have a deep DL.

I really think this is the reason Hal doesn't sign Harper. He wants to get something back for his buck with Ellsbury.

Ellsfairy is a lost cause.  Hal will just take the insurance money...  Looks like he will get another year out of the insurance company!

Ellsbury has nothing left, he couldn't even get healthy enough to make it to ST this year, who's going to give a dollar to take Ellsbury ?? The Yankees are stuck with a bad contract and until Ellsbury's two years are up they better hope he stays on the DL to collect the insurance check...

Ellsbury's career needs to be "put down" like an old broken down cow...

I really think by adding that left handed bat in this lineup like Harper will allow you to win games where your pitcher like Sabathia

gives up 5 runs or even 6. I see us improving so much since not only the protection you get from his bat his 134 walks will have our 4,5,and 6

hitters having a bigger opportunity to bring more runs in. So what bat are we going to put between Judge and Stanton?  Greg Bird?!!

We will be so righty oriented and that left field porch will just be there for opposite field homers or a Gardner or Hicks homer. Hal has to

be insane not to sign Harper after the dreaded Red Sox winnig it all. As Yankee fans we need to pressure him. This will be the only

decade not to make the World Series in our history. And if Didi's bat or Harpers bat is not in this lineup this projection of not making the series will

become a fact.
