0-5 vs. the Astros and Diamondbacks. That's it against teams .500 or better.

Small sample size. At the beginning of the year, they were losing to bad teams like O's, Tigers and WS too.

We could have won a game against the Astro's, we just played with our heads up you know where ?? The last two against the Dimondbacks we didn't hit in clutch situations, again we had a chance to win yesterdays game, but made a couple mental mistakes as well, yet we played 3-1 and 3-2 with half a team...  Again DJ and Irshella not playing in the first game and DJ not playing in the second game is taking even more of our O weapons away, this team is going to have trouble beating the elite teams with the offense we put on the field ??

When the walking wounded come back soon, Cashman is going to unload a bunch of players for Pitching. Our pitching staff really is bad. Watching CC bursting out all over on those Knees, does anyone really think he will be here for the playoffs if they happen. Tanaka is what we see, when he throws the "fastball", it's going over the fence. Where would we be without German and Paxton. Happ? The bullpen hasn't been so hot either. If it looks like a Duck, walks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck, it usually is a Duck!

The Yankees couldn’t find space for Gio Gonzalez.  I would be shocked if they trade for a pitcher for 2019.  In the second half we have Severino and Montgomery returning and in the pen Betances and Heller.  If there is a trade for pitching it is likely prospects for the future.

you're gonna proclaim we can't beat .500 teams after 5 games. seriously?? fwiw, every game has been competitive and if you haven't noticed we've been playing very shorthanded.

agree. cc's done well and tanaka's going through one of those little down periods he goes through. fwiw, though the pen has blown some games, overall our pitching is #5 in the AL. our biggest problem is all the players not on the field.

He just likes to spout off a lot of stupid stuff... he's wrong 99% of the time. I'm not sure what his point is here... but I'm sure he's wrong... again!
