There seems to definitely be a difference in our justice system today... Manafort has been proven guilty and our justice system behind donald and Barr has made sure Manafort doesn't go to NY's Riker jail ?? But how many poor and innocent are locked up in Riker Prison until proven guilty beyond any reasonable doubt ??

The Trump cabal is making it clear that they will consider themselves above the law until We, the People insist they be held accountable.

Manafort should be in federal prison for committing federal crimes.

Rikers is not a federal prison.

The SDNY ( which aren't federal charges) has charges against him yet to try him for, Rikers is the place where people waiting for trial in NY go before they go to court, like I said, rich and guilty is different than poor and innocent... The man did a lot of crimes, money laundering, tax evasion, etc. he's just a common crook, but because he has covered up crimes for donald and he was wealthy he gets special treatment...

70 year old suspects always get special treatment.

Unless you think it’s appropriate for a septuagenarian to get thrown in gen pop with a bunch of 20 something gang bangers

This blood thirsty attitude people have for politicians, I believe to be political on their part. Taking away their freedom is good enough for me. Seems this guy won't be able to commit more crimes or impact people from where he is.

Why isn't it?

You are welcome to recall my posts when it becomes that i'm proven wrong as long as we judge it on the merits of what we knew to be true at the time it was posted.
