Just for fun. At the end of the season, we'll see who came closest.

There are 74 games left. I'll go first.

Given their current, 47-27 would be on target IIRC.

I expect them to get some help going forward, and they've done a lot of heavy lifting without main players earlier, so it could be even stronger than that.

But that's what? 104 win season. I think it's close.....

They're 57-31 right now, 88 games, 162 total - 88 played = 74 games remaining...

Let's say they finish the second half just .500 (37-37), that would still make them 94-68...

I forsee them doing better than that, something like 47-27 is reasonable, that would make them 104-58...

Based on now, at 57-31, they have about a .648 winning percentage (57/88, .6477), take .648 times 162 and they're right now on pace for 105 wins, so that sounds doable, I'd say 94 at the worst and perhaps 106 at the best, so even in the middle is 100 like last year, but I honestly believe that they'll top 100 wins...

Yankees have 36 home games remaining. They won almost 69% of their home games thus far. I'm going to say they will play to about a 4% lesser winning percentage at home in the second half. The Yankees will win 23 to 24 of their remaining 36 home games.

Yankees have 38 road games remaining. They won almost 60% of their road games thus far. I'm going to say they will play to about a 3% lesser winning percentage on the road in the second half. The Yankees will win 21 to 22 of their remaining 38 road games.

The Yankees currently have 57 total wins. The Yankees will win 44 to 46 of their remaining 74 games. The Yankees will finish 2019 with between 101 and 103 wins.

From 26 games over in theif first 88 games, but only 10 over the rest of the way. That is a serious dropoff.

They should get healthier with guys coming back, and I am fairly certain they will get both another starter and a reliever.

Would be interested to know why you feel they would only play 10 over for the balance of the season.

I see it the same way, and would concur with that projection.

I'll go out on a limb: They will win more than they lose!

Just figuring in the eventual slump the team has yet to go through. It's hard to expect a team to play at a .650 pace the whole year.
