There is lots of joking going on, but still, the biggest joke is the man in the White House...

Not to be outdone by the Brits, Trump has declared himself The Prince of Wails...

We needed the prince of walls.  At least he coaxed Mexico and Hoduras to help while the House obstructs any real border enforcement.  It's time to pivot and push for National E-Verify and go after false documentation with felony charges.

Huh? It's more like he asked them for help for the problem that he caused when he threatened to close the border. There was a mad rush to the border over his bluff.

That definitely has happened just like the run on guns whenever there is a hint of gun restrictions.  It doesn't mean we don't need to address it.  The 1986 bill made things worse and nobody is offering real solutions.

The difference is that laws aren't a bluff and they also take time to pass. If Trump was going to close the border he should have just done so. That way the border would have been closed and there wouldn't have been motivation for asylum seekers to rush to the border all at once.

It was attempted but Judge Tigar made that ruling last November that essentially made traveling with a child the golden ticket to temporary status.  I still think they have this all wrong and need to go after the jobs and work their way back.

I don't like the way Trump is inhumainly treating people. But I do agree with you about E-Verify.

A Ditty for Donald...

"Pack up all his rally clothes,

Here he goes,

We’re singing low,

'Bye-bye Donald'

There Joe Biden waits for us,

It’s all so neat, no mess, no fuss,

'Bye-bye Donald!'

No one here can love or understand him,

Oh, what hard luck stories he will hand Kim.

Make his bed, Mel...douse the lights,

It’s a case of job approval blight,

'Donald, bye-bye'…"

Biden spoke 90 mins on the record with reporters.  He said, the choice of a running mate should align with his moderate sensibilites...someone in alliance with his ideas to trust and carry out goverance with unison.  From that statement, someone with progressive ideology would not be be his choice for a running mate who might be butting heads arguing uncompromisingly in the years ahead.

Here I go back to Klobuchar, Bennett....

Biden would accept anybody who, according to polling next summer, would enhance his ticket.  If Biden is our nominee, the VP choice will almost inevitably be somebody who will help bring in a swing state and who will appeal to the progressive wing of the party.  That's just politics.

I could be wrong but I said from day one when I heard that she wasn't going to campaign to be the Senator from Georgia, that Biden is going to pick Stacey Abrams to be his VP.
