You don’t get credit for making pitchers worse, or the same or even marginally better ... because that is expected


We traded for an upcoming pitcher in his theoretical prime who came to us with a career era of 3.42 and never exceeding 3.90 in any season


He Has lowered his era to 4.12 about 3/4 of a run higher than his career average in a ballpark designed for LH pitchers ... so what exactly is it you would like to give larry credit for?


Paxton was expected to be at least as good as he was prior to the trade.
