sorry, I think folks are way too hard on these young kids. If they don't come up and perform like Judge, Jeter or Sanchez they are bums. I don't like his D either but I would bet statistically he will have more opportunities to win games with his bat then lose a game with his glove. Maybin is a caeer journeyman that frankly has not looked all that great in the outfield. I realize I'm not changing any minds and no one is changing mine. I've said my piece so I will gracefully bow out of this conversation now and let the Yankees figure it out. Besides, it's all mute if Stanton can play the outfie;d in the playoffs

Have you been watching Frazier field?  If you are, you would see why I say he will lose more games with his glove.

how many games has he lost since he came back up? Not how many bad plays, but how many games?

How many has he won?

once again Mo, we're not going to agree

LOL ... what else is new.

Great to see you around.

just got back from Bermuda yesterday. Great time

What is this going to be like 2009 when we had a jolly good time time convincing GTGM, the merits of Brett Gardner . At leeast in that case we (well mostly you) finally got her to see our point .

I've been a big Gardner fan for years now ... don't see that ever happening with Frazier.

OK I might be sorry for asking this, but why not? In the next five years he progresses greatly, you still won't like him?

Number One:  His defense would have to improve dramatically ... I've always been very high on good defense.

Number Two:  He needs an attitude adjustment ... should copy Gardner and his Yankees first attitude.

With all due respect (and no that is not code for no respect forthcoming ) your no. 2 bothers me a little. His attitude is fine, all 25 guys on a team shouldn't have the same atitude(except towards winning), heck my brothers and sister and I have such different personalities we question if we are actually related.

Well I guess you don't recall his attitude with the press after he single handedly lost us the Red Sox game and I guess you don't recall that he took the entire three days to show up at AAA ... I call that a bad attitude.

Susyn perpetuating the rumor about wanting Mantle's number and Kay questioning his desire to get back on the field after the concussions was more than enough to put a chip on his shoulder.  I don't get the impression from what I have seen and hear that his teammates have as bad an impression of him as several fans do.

I don't mean to throw shade here, but as a guy, it doesn't help his cause that he has what we call a " please punch me face." Just one of these guys that has that look. I'm sure most of the guys know what I am talking about. Add his bodly language to that, and it is probably not fair, but I bet he has been picked on a lot as a young kid so he developed this chip. Really can't blame him. Not fan of his but the Yankees have given him a raw deal at times, and that hasn't helped. Just bad karma at this point seems to be around this guy. And yes, I believe like others, he will be traded this winter. Hell of a hitter however and with more AB's he will be a tough out.

no offense but this is the exact type of post  you tend to make that I find ridiculous. I have no idea what a "please punch me face" means. How do you know what kind of childhood he has had especially one that would assume he was picked on and this created his chip. These are complete fantasies that you tend to post with nothing to back them up except a vivid imagination

He's saying Clint has an irritating personality.

He says a lot of crap... most of it fantasy he makes up as he goes... everyone has opinions Jpep has presents his as facts. He also acts as if he knows these guys personally or has insite. I find his arrogance irritating.

I just thought I'd interpret.  We all have our good and bad points, Me too...

That's great.

I'm counting the weeks until my husband retires ... it's going to be so great having him home.

That's great! Happy to hear that Mo.

Max get back on topic. Frazier has a punch me face and New is from Iowa.

LOL! Hey Pal! If New is from Iowa, I'm from a small town in Wyoming. Some people's nickname for Frazier is "Red Thunder." My nickname for Frazier is "Flame."

Been watching some great shows on Netflix, but we can talk about that in the Bellevue thread some day.

I was wondering where Ellie May was. She said she had a sleepover with Miss Hathaway.

I will pop into Bellevue. Im curious about the shows.

I have no problem playing Frazier now. See what he has but his defense in the outfield isn't good. If it doesn't get better I don't want him out there in the postseason.

No to Miss. Hathaway, she's not my type. lol. Ellie Mae is very pretty, but she snores like a Linebacker.

I agree with you about Frazier. If he became a better fielder he's a better option to have on the Yankees post season roster than Maybin.
