Where do you live? I live in Central CT and because the Giants are playing a AFC team at home it is a CBS game and not a FOX and when there is a confict between the Giants and Patriots the  Patriots take priority. It has always been that way.Probably the only station where you can get the Giants game for sure is channel 2 out of NY. And when the Patriots and Jets play at the same time which happens often and they are both CBS games we always get the Patriots.  I hope I didn't confuse you more but this can be a little difficult to explain. So on CBS in Central CT here on channel 3 the Patriots get priority over any other team. As far as a conflict with the Giants this usually happens once or twice a season when both the Patriots and Giants play at 1 on CBS.

I live in NYC...my cable listing say..at 1pm CBS is airing Patriots/Dolphins.  I'm hoping it's incorrect....

That has to be an incorrect listing if you live in NYC. No way they would blackout a Giants game in NY.

The Giants pregame show will begin at 11:30 am on WFAN 660 AM and 101.9 FM. Game coverage will switch to AM only at 12:25pm. The postgame show can be heard immediately after the game on WFAN 660 AM.

Yankee game is on 101.9 FM. Giants are on 660 AM.

But in CT when this happens we always get the Patriots on Channel 3 in Hartford. This only happens when the two teams are playing at the same time on the same network. They can't carry both games.  You run into the same situation when both games are on FOX. I remember either last year or the year before FOX61 in Hartford had a conflict and they decided to go with the Giants and there was an upror from Patriots fans. And Channel 61 gave the reason for going with the Giants is that they are the station that  usually carries the Giants games so they felt they had an obligation to choose the Giants over the Patriots. And of course that didn't satisfy Patriots fans which it shouldn't.
