EE is ready and will be on the Post Season Roster according to a notification update I just got from At Bat the MLB app. That's good news! That puts Stanton out in Left Field for sure. Outfield is set, next is the update on Urschela and then the bench 3 or 4 players?

If this means Vioit is off the roster then it is total BS. Vioi is one of the heart and soul Yankees. 2 or 3 years from now EE and his stupid parrot will not even be rembered as a Yankee just a Oh yeah I forgot he was a few month rental that year.

Voit has been ice cold. This is no time for that heart and soul stuff. You go with whoever gives you the best chance to win. With that said, EE has been out for awhile. If he takes time to get back into the groove again, then we are at a disadvantage with him as well.

Exactly carry 12 pitchers and get both on there.

Luke Voit is a great story but Encarnacion is a great hitter. I feel bad for Voit who might be fighting through an injury, but this is a results business.

No one is a bigger Voit fan than I am. My screen name is chl45. He is an old school player with some personality and a fan favorite. However he is cold as ice and has been, and either his core is still tender or he is just plain lost with his timing.

It's the play offs, anything goes and loyality is not the most important thing now, production is..So why is Didi playing? Because he is left handed in the box and we are at Yankee Stadium for the first two games but he hasn't hit his weight in almost 2 months. Just the way baseball is at playoff time. If they play Luke and he don't hit they will kill Cashman and Boone in the fan social media circles and so will the media..

If they play Didi and he doesn't hit no one will say a word because he is such a super star on defense.(really?) Because Luke doesn't hit and according to the fan experts on here his defense is suspect, well he not only sits, he may not be on the roster. I do agree he shouldn't be, but according to the numbers Didi is hitting .143 and Luke is at .53 during their skid. So, there you have it. .143 and left handed gets the nod over Luke. Go figure. We will see what's up with the whole team Starting Friday. I can't wait.

It might come down to Voit or Ford with Wade also in the mix. If they go with 12 pitchers two out of three should make it. If they go with 13 pitchers only one out of three probably makes it.

Which is nuts IMO. If I see Cessa or Gearrin as the 13th pitcher on the roster over Ford or Voit or Wade I will lose it for real.

Personally I would go with 12 pitchers but I have no clue what the Yankees are thinking. You are right. If Cessa or Gearrin are pitching meaningful innings in the ALDS we might be in trouble. We will find out by Friday morning because I believe that is the deadline for submitting the ALDS 25 man roster.
